In a typical day, your expertise:
- Physically receives and accurately verifies material on the receiving loading dock
- Processes receipts of goods and services against open purchase orders
- Supports warehouse layout reorganization and set up as necessary
- Drives a fork truck and utilizes a pallet jack as needed
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
- Maintains accurate inventory reporting data based upon receipts and disbursements
- Prepares finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
- Coordinates the scheduling of shipments with various logistics carriers
- Accurately documents product receipts and shipments in appropriate files
- Ensures proper and safe removal of all waste/recycle materials
- Maintains clean and safe work area, following 5S standards
- Proactively leads continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc.in areas of responsibility
- Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines
- Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business

We're thrilled to find candidates with:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience driving a forklift, current certification preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a warehouse or loading dock facility
- Intermediate computer skills
- Basic mathematics skills
- Fluent mastery of the English language
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred

Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for 8 or more hours during the course of a day
- Manual dexterity of the hands and fingers
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, and operate a computer
- The ability to sit in front of a computer for 2 or more hours daily
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Good vision (20/40) with or without corrective devices
- The ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs and ladders
