PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Optimizing operations through leading, ongoing coaching and feedback, motivating, and supporting associates within the assigned area towards achieving business goals.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately verifies inbound, outbound, and intercompany records of goods and services.
• Package and label parts per GMP/Customer specifications
• Prepare necessary documents and information for customer service representative for generations on invoices, packing lists, and C of C’s.
• Verify and attach appropriate documentation to boxes and skids for shipment.
• Prepare necessary documents for carriers picking up shipments.
• Skid and band skids for shipment.
• Unload and load trucks as necessary.
• Confirm accuracy of documentation of parts received from inspection.
• Make boxes for packaging finished goods.
• Receive, check, and distribute incoming supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education preferred.
• Hold a valid Fork Truck License within 30 days of hire date.

• Ability to communicate in English in written and verbal form.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Prolonged periods sitting at table or standing at a workstation.
• Must be able to lift to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

• The employee must be able to walk steps between the floors in the building regularly. vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Employees will come in frequent contact with various types of machine oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex.

• All employees will be provided with training in working safely, evacuation procedures, accident reporting and other safety topics the company feels are necessary to ensure and maintain a safe work environment from hazards to the employee.
