Shipping/Receiving/Material-Handling/Driver - Compucraft Fabricators

Description: Shipping/ receiving and material handling clerk.

The position is responsible to assist in the daily shipping and receiving activities, as well as assist with material handling duties as assigned. This position requires an individual that can multitask on a daily basis.

Job Duties:

Prepare and package orders, including proper protection, quantity counts, weights, labels and organization.

Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks of products and sheet goods.

Locate and organize all incoming materials into appropriate rack or racks from outside vendors

Verification of quantity accuracy, of all outgoing and quality of incoming products and materials.

Must follow all work instructions outlined in the shipping work center.

Review the daily visual board for delivery priorities and adjust priorities if required.

Maintains an organized clean work area, that includes all exterior areas for pallet stacking and product staging.

Collaborates and communicates daily with Purchasing and Manufacturing for schedules and priorities.

Generating accurate packing slip documentation and labels.

Provide backup support for shipping, receiving and material handling

Delivering parts to local customers if needed

 Skills and qualifications:

Strong communication skills, written and verbal, internal and external

Strong computer skills, data entry, math and email communication internally and externally.

Excellent organization and administrative skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to operate warehouse equipment/ fork trucks and pallet jacks

Detail oriented and multitasking skills

Must be able to lift 50lbs. on a daily basis.

Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and work overtime as required.

Work and collaborate in a team environment

Experience:

Previous working experience of packaging products to include boxing, crating and palletizing, UPS, FedEx,  LTL, shipments for safe transportation.

Previous experience working in a warehouse/ fabrication setting is a plus.

Forklift certification is a plus

Compensation will be based on relevant experience
