Job Summary:
The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing deliveries, manage demand and delivery off parts for support activities in the field. This individual will be responsible for verifying receipts against purchase orders, ensuring material is stored appropriately in the warehouse and all system transactions are performed timely and accurately in NetSuite. Other responsibilities include reporting any discrepancies, identifying potential issues with incoming shipments, and coordinating with other teams to ensure that the warehouse operations run smoothly.

Job Summary:
The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing deliveries, manage demand and delivery off parts for support activities in the field. This individual will be responsible for verifying receipts against purchase orders, ensuring material is stored appropriately in the warehouse and all system transactions are performed timely and accurately in NetSuite. Other responsibilities include reporting any discrepancies, identifying potential issues with incoming shipments, and coordinating with other teams to ensure that the warehouse operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt of all incoming material and shipment of goods in support of field demand.
- Cycle Counts on a predetermined basis
- Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
- Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
- Provide regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a Warehouse receiving role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce/NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and distribution systems.
