Position Summary:
Scheduling and overseeing all aspects of supply chain for production and distribution of product at the Omaha plant and cooler facility.
Position hours are 4:00PM - 3:00AM. Schedule may vary week to week. Candidates must have availability to work on weekends to meet cooler facility demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule all finish goods for the Omaha plant.
- Schedule all finished goods from co-packers.
- Coordinate inbound raw materials with purchasing group for optimal scheduling of plant lines.
- Accountable for finish goods inventory accuracy.
- Accountable for raw materials inventory.
- Monitoring of inventory transactions/ issues dealing with plant shrink.
- Supervising warehouse/Robotics employees.
- Superior customer satisfaction by obtaining on time delivery and 99.5% order fulfillment.
- Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
- Demonstrates understanding of financial impact of decisions. Actively shares core business knowledge and processes to leverage team
- Incorporates change management skills to lead/ coach others through change. Comfortably manages risk and uncertainty for self and team.
- Builds collaborative relationships with peers across the organization to ensure understanding and speech in delivering results.
- Uses appropriate resources, analysis, experiences, judgment, and wisdom to make timely, sound business decisions.
- Monitors and reports on actual demand vs. forecasted demand within the current month, and acts as a liaison between sales & marketing, and operations when actual demand diverges significantly from forecasted demand to determine necessary options.
- Prioritizes continuous improvement opportunities and develops team’s proficiency in continuous improvement methods.
- Models key processes and communicates reasoning behind policies and procedures.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement solutions.
- Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
- Establishes and supervises production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
- Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company’s business growth and sourcing requirements.
- Any food safety or quality incidents must be reported to plant leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet production and operational needs.
- This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Department Manager.

- Occasionally bend at the waist, twist/turn, kneel, squat, climb/heights, crawl, reach outward and above shoulder.
- Constantly have head/neck movements.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree.
- Ten (10) years of experience in sales forecasting, logistics, and manufacturing.
