Job Summary: Work closely with the production team to support the shipping and receiving process.Providesleadership and direction of logisticsoperations to maximize efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, achieve cost-effectivestorage and transportation of products, to consistently deliver complete and on timeto the customer.
Essential Functions:
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of shipping and receiving.
- Leads a team of Receiving Clerks, Order Pullers, and Team Leader(s). Providesoverall guidance to logisticsfor team members, leaders,and supportdepartments.
- Develop the plan to create and maintainthe necessary space on the shipping dock to increase material out the door.
- Attends daily Production Meetings to take away and execute the shipment of high priority part numbers and customer orders by deadlines.
- Strategically identifyand plan the pick to ship specific customer orders, according to size and priority, for complete and on time deliveries.
- Ensures that all inbound material is being physically verified against the receiver with daily shift end reporting entered intoJDE. Collect, organize, and store documentation.
- Providessupport to close the loop to avoid gapsbetween unreceived material in JDE, what transportation shows as being received, and what the supplier is invoicing.
- Accelerate the shipping pullfrom once daily Open Order Report to using the developed Pick/Ship Program hard allocation of inventory throughout the day.
- CompleteShipping/Receiving Rotating Cycle Counts, while maintainingorganization of the shipping dock,to schedule according to Inventory Control Specialist PFEP.
- Monitor both the physical inter-departmental transport of materials across the shipping dock and in JDE.
- Performing any other duties or tasks as many be assigned from time to time by management.

Qualifications:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Supply chain/Logistics: 1 year (Preferred)
- Two-year degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain
- At least two years of experience in
