PROFILE SUMMARY
As a Shipping Representative for RE Pharmacy, you will collaborate with the pharmacy, patients, and doctors offices to ensure that all deliveries/pick-ups are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner. You will act as a liaison between the clients and our pharmacy, delivering medications with a strong sense of urgency directly to that patient’s home and/or doctors office and infusion center.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Work from computerized prescription orders and shipping labels.
2. Package medication orders and examine ancillary supplies to ensure quality and include with welcome kits, and accompanying paperwork, ensuring compliance with transportation requirements for stability and conformance with established protocols.
3. May coordinate equipment pick-ups that are due for maintenance from patients.
4. Receive, stock, and maintain inventory of Pharmacy packing and shipping supplies. Receive administrative supply orders and distribute to appropriate storage areas within the facility.
5. Process delivery ticket tracking, monitoring, and exceptions through carriers’ electronic systems.
6. Ensure that shipping operations support the achievement of customer service goals and comply with customer service protocols in all internal and external business interactions.
7. Provide Pharmacy administrative and inventory control support as required.
8. Monitor work area, equipment, and activities to ensure that conditions are compliant with regulatory, training, procedural and policy requirements for operation and safety.
9. Assist to train new team members in shipping operations.
10. Conduct deliveries for assigned route as needed.
11. Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
12. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
Plus – may perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
*Required Education may be supplemented by equivalent relevant experience*
Required: At least 18 years of age
Required Certification, License or Memberships: Driver’s License & Clean DMV record
EXPERIENCE
● Prior experience with deliveries (preferred)
TECHNICAL / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
● Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various shipping materials and tools
● Demonstrated ability to lift and move heavy packages with or without assistive devices and in compliance with safe handling procedures.
● Clear understanding of basic healthcare protocols for privacy.
● Skilled utilization of computer software in a Windows environment including MS Word and Excel.
● Knowledge of computer programs utilized for Logistics
● Knowledge of effective communication methodologies utilized to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting/standing in either open or confined spaces. Inside and outside of facilities and vehicle.
Physical Effort: Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Equipment Used: Vehicle. Shipping materials and tools.
% Travel Required: As needed between sites or deliveries
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
