As the Shop Mechanic you will be writing up estimates for repairs and communicating with customers. Completing preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including: tire rotations, oil changes, filter replacement, brakes, suspension, AC maintenance and repair, starters, alternators, and tune ups.on early and late model cars and trucks. Ordering parts, performing repairs and working with other mechanics to help diagnose problems and decide the best course of action.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues

• Liaise with clients to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems

• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues

• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested

• Keep an accurate log of all work performed

• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times

• Adhere to company work safety policies

Location: Taylor, TX 

Hours:  Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate: Flag Pay Range $15-$45 per hour Negotiable based on experience
