POSITION SUMMARY
Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Shop Scheduler/Planner to join our Central Fab Shop team.
This position schedules workflow through the Machine, Fabrication, and Letourneau shops and will assist in inventory of raw materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulation, and JSAs
- Create estimates/quotes for mills
- Communicate with mills on jobs/requests
- Ensure parts are available for scheduled work
- Communicate with suppliers on material cost/availability
- Create and add orders to E2 software system
- Work with shop/fab leads to schedule jobs through the shop
- Inventory material
- Produce reports for Accounting and Fab Crew Supervisor
- Use Dynastar to request material for stock
- Communicate with purchasing on timelines of orders and parts received
- Must have the ability to read detailed prints and determine needed material
- Keep working areas clean
- Other duties as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment)
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Dynastar, and E2 Shop
- Machine shop or maintenance background
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license

Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.
