Compensation Base Range:$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Shopify Content Designer to join our growing ecommerce team. This role is critical in ensuring that our online store provides an engaging, user-friendly experience. The Shopify Content Designer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining content and informational pages across our Shopify platform. This position will work closely with our product and merchandising specialists to support the broader ecommerce strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Design & Implementation: Design, build, and update content and informational pages on our Shopify site, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing layout that aligns with our brand guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure all page's support product launches, promotional campaigns, and overall ecommerce goals.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize page designs for user experience (UX) and conversion rate (CRO), incorporating feedback and testing new approaches.
• Responsive Design: Ensure all pages are fully responsive, providing an excellent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Content Management: Manage and update existing content, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with the latest SEO best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of content pages to identify and correct any design or functional issues.
• Cross-functional Support: Assist other team members with design and content needs as necessary, particularly during peak seasons or product launches.

• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and effectively present information and answer questions on e-commerce findings and decisions. 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Capable of computing rates, ratios, and percentages, and of creating and interpreting bar graphs. Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages. 
• Proficiency in Shopify, apps, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Monday.  
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Shopify: Minimum 2 years of experience working with Shopify, with a strong understanding of its content management and design capabilities.
• Basic Coding Skills: Knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is preferred for troubleshooting and implementing customizations.
• SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and their application in content design and structure.
• Solid understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the B2C e-commerce space. 
• UX/UI Design: Proficient in UX/UI design principles, with experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
