Shows & Events Manager
Responsibilities
The Fletcher Home Shows & Events Manager is responsible for generating and setting leads for the company by attending coordinated vendor shows/events throughout Northern
Virginia, Richmond and the areas in between. Our Shows & Events Manager will lead and
manage a team of promoters that attend these events to accomplish this goal and
positively represent Fletcher Home in the community.
Our Shows & Events Manager should be outgoing, energetic, able to drive team
performance, and should have demonstrable experience in sales, marketing,
management, and/or lead generation. Additionally, our Shows & Events Manager should be
able to effectively network and be comfortable negotiating event contracts to ensure
Fletcher Home has desirable booth locations, attendance costs, and resources.
Position Duties
• Find and book vendor trade shows and/or events for the show team to attend for the
purpose of interacting with and scheduling potential leads
• Lead and manage the show team – to include interviewing and hiring, coaching and
training, shift scheduling, creating and maintaining performance metrics, etc.
• Meet show/event quotas and goals for booked appointments and call to set leads
• Keep inventory of swag gear
• Transport show materials, setup and tear down
• Collaborate and work with other teams within the company to include Sales,
Marketing and the Call Center
• Generate and maintain reports to keep track of key data points to include show
costs, cost per lead, conversion rate of leads issued to sold, promoter performance,
etc.
• Submit weekly report to management outlining results of the previous weekend’s
shows
Requirements
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Degree in Marketing or Equivalent Experience
• Must be able to lift, put up banners and tents
