About the Job
Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Crofton, MD is seeking a qualified LPN/Shift Supervisor to lead our Assisted Living team. The LPN/Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They direct Resident Assistants (RAs) and help coordinate services to residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. The LPN/Shift Supervisor will develop positive relationships with team members, families, and residents on behalf of the Community and Spring Arbor. Ideal candidates must be at least 21 years of age and show a genuine concern and interest in working with seniors. This Shift will work various days 7am-3pm with an every other weekend commitment.

Responsibilities
- Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders
- Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner
- Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care
- Respond to resident emergency call system
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
