Position: Signage Lead
Job Description:
- Lead small teams in the field to install Signage around site, including tent facades, and general event signage
- Will troubleshoot any issues with assets in real time, and escalate any significant issues to the site Foreman.
- Make requests to the On-Site Logistics Coordinator for additional materials/ tools needed to complete their assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Works with the On-Site Logistics team to pack and palletize assets for their assigned activations during load-out, making sure to adhere to Memoir standards
- Participate in pre-shift and post-shift meetings with the crew to discuss work goals and accomplishments, adding on any key points specific to their work
- Directly responsible for keeping work areas clean and organized, and helping maintain the overall cleanliness throughout site
- Gain detailed knowledge of all assigned activations through pre-production meetings, allowing them to actively manage tasks assigned to them with little to no supervision
Requirements:
- 1 or more years of experience working in signage, or a similar field
- Ability to to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. **Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.**
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools (eg. drills, impacts, socket wrenches)
- Ability to problem-solve, and properly escalate issues as they are encountered in the field
- Ability to perform necessary and appropriate duties for set-up and load-out in a safe and efficient manner, including the loading and unloading of event trucks.
- Must work well in a team-based environment, and communicate effectively with team members
- Must be prompt, and be able to work all shifts as assigned
Dates: This is a temporary full-time position: Load-in will begin on August 21st, and ends around 9/10. Changeover takes place from 11/1-11/19. Load-out is from January 6th-17th. Specific dates will be confirmed during the interview process.
Pay Details: Starting at $23/hr. Higher rates may be offered for potential staff with significant experience. Build crew will work approximately 40 hours per week during install and strike periods. Payments will be made weekly.
