About the Job
The Silicon Validation Specialist designs, assesses, develops, modifies and evaluates network ASIC validation tests. Works with architecture and logic design, design verification teams to ensure test development for tests for both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activity. May direct support personnel in the preparation and execution of detailed test plan, test writing and prototype hardware validation.
- Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives.
- Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.
- May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.
- Exercises judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.
How You'll Make Your Mark
- Provide technical expertise to a project team of ASIC validation engineers along with development partners responsible for pre- and post-silicon validation of network ASICs for high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
- Collaborate and communicates with management and internal partners regarding test development status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Represent the team for all phases of larger and more complex ASIC development projects.
- Participate as a member of project team of other ASIC validation engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality validation solutions for AISC prototypes.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or equivalent
- 1-6 years of experience in ASIC verification, or validation
- Strong knowledge of computer engineering and VLSI fundamentals, digital logic, and computer architecture
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong experience in testing VLSI components, integrated circuitry, architectures and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of a programming and scripting, hardware description language, electronic design automation (EDA), and/or FPGA tools. Coursework in VLSI design or VLSI testing concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Subject matter knowledge in major areas of responsibility. Growing breadth of understanding and a depth of specific expertise.

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
