Job Title: Silk Screen Machine Operator
Job Description
You will work hand in hand with the production crew to screen print designs onto completed capsules. This involves operating a machine to silk screen prints based on customer bottle sizes and needs. The company supplies closures, which are the tops of wine bottles and spirits. You will be palletizing finished products and assisting with getting orders ready for shipment. You must organize products to ensure work orders are correctly stored and ready for shipping. Heavy lifting up to 20lbs will be required throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a silk screen machine to print designs onto capsules.
+ Set up and operate silk screen frames.
+ Prepare inks and alcohol for machines.
+ Conduct machine changeovers.
+ Palletize finished products and prepare orders for shipment.
+ Organize and store products to ensure accurate work orders.
+ Perform quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
+ Test capsules every hour.
+ Transport raw materials and finished products using a pallet jack.
+ Work in a dark room to create screens
Work Environment
Day Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM. This is a small warehouse/production environment that can be loud due to capsule machines and the sound of metal capsules clanking. You will work closely with a small team of four people per shift. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, full-length pants or jeans (no shorts), and no jewelry, fake nails, or lashes. You will follow all GMPs and will be provided with a hair net and beard cover.
