Site Director/Office Manager - U.S. Environmental Rental

About the Job
The objective of the Site Director is to manage an individual branch of an environmental rental equipment business. The Site Director is responsible for the organization and coordination of general office administration along with operational procedures, in compliance with efficiency and safety. The Site Director is also responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, staff management, and task delegation. A successful site director uses critical thinking while looking at the larger picture to manage location.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Point Person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, billing and errands.
- Organize and hold company meetings and appointments.
- Partner with HR to maintain policies, as necessary.
- Organize office & operations procedures.
- Coordinate IT on all office equipment.
- Maintain interactive relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord.
- Provide general support to clients and visitors.
- Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.
- Responsible for developing and implementing location policies by setting up procedures and standards.
- Ensure that employees are measured against weekly audit targets, while course correcting, as needed.
- Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance.
- Supervise, mentor and manage Office Staff by assigning and monitoring clerical, administrative, and secretarial responsibilities and tasks among office staff.
- Supervise, mentor and manage Department Managers ensuring business operations are met using established procedures.
- Maintaining Regulatory records and paperwork on all employees at location.
- Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the Executive Management properly informed.
- Responsible for interviewing staff for the location and providing orientation and training to new Employees.
- Ensure top performance of staff by providing them adequate coaching and mentoring.
- Train in all areas of our organization.
Qualifications and Requirements
*College degree preferred, but not mandatory
*Background in technical disciplines or other technologies preferred, but not mandatory
*Managerial experience a must
*Critical thinking skills, highly organized and coordinated a must
Compensation:
- $65,000 annual salary. 401k plan, medical, dental & vision benefits as well as free group life insurance
