Position Summary:
As a Site Engineer at UBuildlt.inen, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction activities at various project sites
- Monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed on schedule
- Collaborate with the project manager to develop construction plans and schedules
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide technical expertise
- Ensure that all construction work is carried out in compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues that may arise
- Monitor and manage project budgets and report any deviations to the project manager
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all on-site activities and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Proficient in using construction management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, on-site position with regular working hours. However, some weekend and evening work may be required to meet project deadlines. You will be working in various weather conditions and may need to travel between different project sites. Safety equipment is provided, and all necessary safety protocols must be followed.
