Site Estimator - Now CFO

NOW CFO is seeking a skilled Site Estimator to join our client's company permanently. This Estimator will be responsible for providing full take-off bids for large commercial projects such as utility work, excavation, grading and paving projects. The ideal candidate will have ten or more years of estimation experience for large commercial projects. Also, this candidate will have excellent accountability skills, numerical skills and an analytical mindset to balance company profitability with acquiring work, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Earn between $100K - $125K, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong individual relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Acquire in-depth understanding of each project and the relative specifications.
• Conduct research by reviewing documents, consulting with our other estimators, and obtaining all necessary data on labor costs, materials and production times, etc.
• Creating Take-offs, Sub Bids, Cost Coverage, Pricing, contracts, follow ups, and work orders.
• Creating a Back Log.
• Track forecast and work schedule needs.
• Prepare all documents for successful job handoff to Project Managers.
• Help Project Managers with large change orders.
• Manage and eliminate scope gap.
• Margin Management and market analysis.
• Analyze data and forecast individual sales, costs, profits and timelines of each project.
• Ensure adherence to all health and Safety Standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field OR equivalent related experience required.
• Ten or more years of large commercial bidding projects experience required.
• Excellent accountability and self-starting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Analytical and Estimator Software skills (Bid2Win, AGTEK, etc.)
• Ten years of previous experience with large commercial projects ($15-20MM + per job).
