Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for general security of trailer and connex area
- Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics/inventory data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to the internal/external supply chain management for the Panthers job site.
- Maintains database(s) of logistics information.
- Works with project schedule.
- Tracks site inventory, i.e. tools and supplies flow from origin to delivery. Coordinates with MSS Corporate Logistics, Procurement and Shipping/Receiving personnel to ensure inventory accuracy and consistency of processes.
- Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.
- Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes for the jobsite.
- Monitors jobsite facilities and ensures proper standards maintained.
- Documents work by maintaining job files.
- Assists regional and on-site safety personnel.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and distribution channels.
- Ability become lull and rigging certified
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Previous experience in logistics/inventory management field required
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial or industrial construction environment
- Prolonged periods standing/walking with routine time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
