- Clean Technology Systems: Exhaust-air purification systems and energy efficiency technology
- Measuring and Process Systems: Balancing as well as assembly, testing and filling technology
- Woodworking Machinery and Systems:Machinery and equipment for the woodworking the industry
Location: Southfield, MI
Position Summary:
The main responsibility of this position is to assist with the management of the logistics function at our project sites
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Must be open to 90% Travel
- Establish the Site Logistics physical systems, processes and resources
- Receives and moves materials at the project site
- Responsible for monitoring inbound freight
- Track inventory levels
- Establish processes and metrics for the key logistics activities to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Constantly work to improve processes
- Ensure the facility equipment is properly maintained
- Attend project meetings and report logistics and transport status
- Train site logistic team, site managers on Durr field receiving processes and intra-Durr document navigation
- Understand and implement domestic transport regulations including super loads
- Understand trailer configurations and shipping regulations
- Assist Durr Mexico / Germany / other Durr entities with Logistics processes (import and export to the US)
Nonessential Functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Transportation
- Familiarity with company products and components preferred
- Competent user of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Power Point
- SAP experience and knowledge
- OSHA 10 trained
- Organized, versatile, and flexible
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers / suppliers
- Results focused
- Ability to use sound judgement
- Working knowledge of automotive and industrial paintshop equipment and environmental equipment
- Detail oriented with good documentation practices
- Good time management skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions, schedules, timelines and handle multiple priorities
- Adaptable to change in a learning environment
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary
Additional Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and be able to pass a drug test at any time during employment

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders or stairs
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary based on need. Maybe required to work holidays, Overtime may be required.
Travel:
This position requires frequent travel, greater than 90%. Travel can be both overnight, during the business day, weekends and can be both local and international.
