Site Manager – Industrial Services
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Site Manager to join a fast-growing industrial services company operating across Canada and the United States. Position Summary:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of site activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth site operations and maintenance. Your role will be key in managing resources, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to oversee site maintenance and manage all site activities.
- Provide technical and operational direction to field supervisors and liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including labor forces.
- Coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment necessary for site services.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans, focusing on cost, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage profit and loss responsibilities, ensuring project financial goals are met.
- Lead turnaround execution and monitor progress, holding regular meetings with all involved teams.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and conduct quality control audits.
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere, manage issues, and develop solutions to improve site operations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma from a recognized technical institution, Engineering Degree, or Technical Diploma.
- Proven management experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Experience in maintenance planning, turnaround execution, and profit/loss accountability.
- Subcontractor management experience.
- Small capital construction management experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (Primavera preferred) and reporting progress on small capital work.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems (Empac and SAP preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts and scheduling documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
