Site Manager (Fleet Utility)
Vectour Group, Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic Site Manager with a strong commitment to safety, effective leadership skills, and experience in managing staff and resources.
As Site Manager, your team will provide comprehensive oversight of transit bus utility support operations, with a strong focus on safety management and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Your primary focus will be on safety management and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in fleet fueling, farebox data activities, fleet cleaning, and related support services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:
Maintain consistent operational excellence with a strong emphasis on SOP delivery and safety.
Develop and implement schedules to ensure properly skilled staffing levels.
Staff Management:
Adjust individual assignments to accommodate absences, ensuring replacement staff are adequately trained in safety procedures.
Instruct and assist staff in equipment operation, emphasizing safe handling practices.
Safety and Compliance:
Identify and recommend materials, chemicals, and equipment to enhance safety measures.
Inspect all service areas routinely for compliance and implement corrective measures.
Implement and enforce safe driving techniques among all drivers within the fleet/utility operations.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage supply inventory, ordering supplies and materials as needed.
Perform regular quality control (QC) inspections, sending reports to Vectour Management upon request.
Communication and Reporting:
Meet regularly with onsite personnel to review the status of various service elements and institute corrective measures.
Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
Driver Training Oversight:
Oversee and assure the completion of in-vehicle driver training for every active driver within the fleet/utility operations.
Ensure that all active drivers are proficiently trained in close quarter maneuvering principles.
Develop and conduct training programs for all drivers on diminishing clearance principles to enhance awareness and safety during operations.
Coach and mentor all operators onsite, providing real-time feedback and corrective guidance to rectify improper maneuvers or address other safety violations.
Hold drivers accountable for preventable accidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Fleet and Facility Support:
Assist in maintaining fleet and facility through janitorial activities as a back-up, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Project, Program, and Portfolio Management:
Solid experience in project, program, and portfolio management.
Proven ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
Safety Commitment:
Demonstrated commitment to safety in all aspects of job responsibilities.
Proven experience implementing and promoting safety protocols within project and team management.
Staff Management and Leadership:
Successful track record in managing and leading staff with a specific focus on safety training.
Effective leadership and supervision skills, fostering teamwork, communication, and safety awareness among employees.
Client Servicing:
Excellent skills in servicing clients, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
Diverse Operations Experience:
Diverse janitorial, facility, or fleet operations experience, including staff, supplies, and equipment management.
Attention to safety practices and compliance in various operational settings.
Contractual Understanding:
Ability to interpret and execute contractual requirements with a keen focus on safety and compliance.
Training Proficiency:
Proficient in training new employees on work-related equipment and procedures, emphasizing safety protocols.
Ability to develop and implement effective training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficiency in using MS Office applications for effective communication and documentation.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail in managing staff, resources, and operational activities.
Capacity to take direction from supervisors, particularly regarding safety compliance.
Multitasking and Prioritization:
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Skill in prioritizing tasks based on safety considerations and operational requirements.
Government Systems Eligibility:
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems and/or facilities.
Job Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the capacity of fleet or facility management.
Demonstrated commitment to safety throughout professional experience.
Driver's License:
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Safety Certification:
OSHA 30 certification is highly desired but not required.
Commitment to ongoing safety training and professional development.

Salary
$50,000/annual
Pay biweekly.
Proposed Hours Travel
■ Full-Time
■ Monday – Friday; some weekend availability.
