Position Overview:   
The Site Manager is responsible for leading and managing the staff's performance, ensuring smooth delivery of daily operations and guiding successful project completion by maximizing efficiencies within specified deadlines and budget goals.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Manage performance to plan for critical manufacturing metrics / KPIs including but not limited to Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost.
• Develop site manufacturing goals and lead execution of operations in support of site goals.
• Build and manage workforce staffing plans based on customer requirements.
• Own site/ Global vision and communication for team.
• Drive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and other critical projects in driving operational excellence.
• Coach, mentor, measure performance, provide feedback, and drive accountability for teams / managers across all departments.
• Establish best practices and standardization across site.
• Drive efficiency and quality through leadership of process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives and root cause / corrective action exercises.
• Lead and implement critical business initiatives across the team (project management).
• Work effectively across functions (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, etc.).
• Support customer service level agreements and initiatives across the world.
• Collaborate/partner with project teams leading new product introduction and other manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5-8 years’ Previous Manufacturing Manager experience is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong Leadership, interpersonal and team building skills required.
• Experience in 5S or lean manufacturing is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Office, Excel and overall ability to use technology within the department and in production to create efficiencies, improvements and reports.
• Must have sense of urgency, be self-directed and display strong organizational skills.
• Previous experience working with a Global team is required.

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
