About the Role:
As a CBRE Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations for Facilities: workplace/building operations, Engineering: maintenance of systems and equipment, and Experience: delivery of hospitality through meeting & events, amenities, and onsite offerings at client locations within a dedicated site/region.
This role reports to the Regional Site Operations Manager with accountability to program directors of Workplace Experience & FM/Engineering. This job is responsible for elevating the mind set of all teams to put an enhanced focus on hospitality in the workplace. The right candidate should possess a customer service mindset with extensive experience in hospitality/experience.

You will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, predicting their needs, and exceeding performance metrics outlined in the contract in this position, including cost savings and sustainability initiatives, operational improvements, and the introduction of best practices and innovations.
You will partner and collaborate with FM/Engineering and Workplace Experience COEs to support initiatives, execute projects, deliver programs with a one team approach and hospitality mindset. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of client locations. In this role, you would develop and oversee the team’s operations as they provide services for the dedicated region, with the goal of ensuring that these operations align with client goals and needs.
What You’ll Do:
Foster Relationships
+ Drive direction from FM/Engineering COE and partner with the COE for Workplace Experience to run operations and programs.
+ Collaborate with Account COEs and Client to develop goals, objectives and focus areas of service delivery on the account.
+ Participate in local planning to develop portfolio strategies and foster client relationships.
+ Create compelling presentations and reports that enhance our delivery model by providing concise summaries, evidence-based suggestions, clearly defined goals and securing project approval.
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Build Great Teams
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Advances CBREs diversity and inclusion priorities by focusing on talent moves, i.e., hiring, rotation, and promotion.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Encourage parties with common interests to come to an agreement by utilizing data, embracing, and engaging in the advancement of best practices like new tools, process management, and other innovative ideas that enhance service delivery efficiency.
Drive Performance
+ Provide tactical operational facilities support, oversight, and performance of key 3rd-party supplier partners.
+ Manage all Client facilities services activities and workplace experiences, ensuring total contract compliance with all criteria and reaching all performance specifications.
+ Oversee account initiatives as assigned and support COE driven programs
+ Provide necessary status updates on incident reporting to Account Leadership, essential customer stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure resource availability for reducing service disruptions.
+ Provide project facilities support and technical input for projects scope of work as required to ensure site infrastructure and operations needs are met.
+ Report on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, etc.
+ Develop policies and procedures to ensure that contract specifications are fulfilled.
+ Create strategic facility management objectives for clients. Generate capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
+ Inspect the facility periodically for quality assurance. Ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
Deliver Financial Results
+ Develop and manage annual operations budgets while summarizing forecasted or unforeseen variances.
+ Create and implement savings initiatives across the region.
What You’ll Need:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a
combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring,
appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey
performance expectations and handle problems.
Excellent leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the
job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite products.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other
financial-related calculations.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Impactful communicator, ability to succinct updates to Leadership and Client
Strong team builder, ability to motivate, develop, and challenge team members to maximize their own, and teams’ potential.
