Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Provides technical data and consulting to customers and works with their engineers to ensure the mechanical, electrical and structural design will support the system being installed

Responsibilities:

• Plans the mechanical installation of the system, from determining unloading methods to staffing requirements to tools/supplies/etc.
• Supports the mechanical installation of large air and liquid cooled systems
• Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel whom are diagnosing , troubleshooting , repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment
• Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Resolves extremely complex technical issues in creative and effective ways
• Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering
• Works directly with customer on technical support issues to recommend and resolve customer problems
• Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
• May lead larger scope project relating to service issue
• Position requires travel which can vary from 30% to 75% depending on shipping schedule.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience in a business or facilities-related function.

Annual Salary: $47,500.00 - $101,000.00
