Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Construction and/or Project Management Experience; Relationship Building; Communication Skills; Organizational Skills; OSHA Certification, First Aid and CPR, Attention to Detail; Ability to Multi-Task; Ability to read Civil and Architectural plans; Aptitude or ability to interpret zoning regulations or UDO language and apply to job function; Ability to use or learn Microsoft products - Excel, Teams; Project Management Software (SmartSheets)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of bid solicitation and grant funding

Charlotte Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector Certification (or ability to become certified within six months

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors on construction sites in all types of weather, traveling between locations within the service area in all types of weather.

Physical Demands

Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.

Ability to work on roofs with a pitch up to 6:12.

Ability to maneuver over uneven ground.

Ability to stand most or all of any given day.

Ability to work outside for extended periods of time during all months of the year.

Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.

Estimated Time Commitment: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday schedule.
