Position Title: Site Procurement Manager
Location: Zebulon, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Duration: This CW role is needed to backfill for the current SPM who has taken a secondment role, however, there is a strong probability that this CW could become a permanent role IN 6+ months for the right candidate (as the secondment position is likely to be offered as a permanent role).
Pay Rate: $76.78/hr on W2 All Inclusive

" Direct experience leading procurement for a specific supply category, or more generically across site level spend (Direct or Indirect)

" Exceptional communication and influencing skills across internal Client teams and external suppliers globally.

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for driving and leading the performance management of all key initiatives and projects, across multiple categories of spend and cross-functionally across the wider Client business, to ensure the delivery of key business objectives and benefits.
Business strategy:
" Develop and propose long and short-term plans to improve Procurement processes to enhance the overall performance of the Site
" Manage the interfaces between Procurement and the Site, balancing the expectations of both Procurement and Site stakeholders.
" Ensure that Site requirements are considered within the definition and implementation of Global Category strategies
" Develop and implement Procurement strategies for local categories of spend that clearly meet business requirements
Procurement Management:
" Lead the Procurement function across the Zebulon manufacturing site (Directs and Indirects)
" Develop and manage the Site supply base to meet Client s requirements: assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost, and innovation to control costs in a fast-moving environment. Adapt and respond to regularly changing business requirements.
" For specific Categories, actively negotiate contracts.
" Reduce the Directs, Manufacturing & Indirects costs across the Sites. Support the reduction of end-to-end total costs of the site.
" Co-ordinate support from multiple Category teams and work within a matrix organization.
Team:
" You will manage a team of 1 Procurement professional based at the Zebulon manufacturing location
" Responsible to select, train, supervise, develop and evaluate local team. Lead and motivate team members towards the pursuit of operational excellence and attainment of best practices. In addition, promote empowerment and process ownership
Degree - Business or Science preferred
5-8 years of operational Procurement / Supply Chain experience across multiple categories of spend (ideally with some experience of regulated environments)
