Summary of the position:
Housed in our main Carson City clinic and new Reno clinic locations, the Site Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations at each assigned site to ensure that patient care
activities are supported in order to assure that; quality of care, efficiency, customer service and
associate engagement are consistently maintained at a high level. The Site Supervisor supports a
focus on continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency, service and engagement. The Site
Supervisor supports the Practice Manager through collaborating with staff and providers to meet
standards, and organizational objectives.
Requirements of the position:
Associate Degree in a healthcare related field with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare
environment leading/overseeing people or processes is required.
Two years’ experience providing leadership/supervision in a medical practice environment is highly
preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Supports clinic team members to provide excellent service
- Follows, monitors, knows and holds others accountable to administrative policy and procedures
- Partners with practice manager to solicit, record, review, and implement suggestions for
improving clinic procedures utilizing established processes - Organizes and conducts staff meetings and huddles in support of, and in collaboration with, the
practice manager - Supports the practice manager in managing financial statements and measures including profit
and loss. Reviews and guides productivity in order to ensure service meets established
expectations. - Establishes appointment schedule. Maintains smooth patient flow.
- Oversees walk in and triage process.
- Supports manager in ensuring MSDS sheets for all chemicals utilized or located in the clinic are
maintained in the clinic MSDS book, or collaborates with facilities to ensure these are updated
at an organizational level appropriately. Supports manager with employee adherence to safety
standards and education about MSDS and hazardous materials - Supports timely completion of end of day, month, quarter, year, processes as appropriate
- Maintains, monitors and accounts for petty cash and change fund if applicable.
- Ensures safety of all staff and customers
- Ensures all equipment in facility is accounted for and is in proper working condition,
(medical, technical and office equipment) - Coordinates with providers to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Ensures and monitors HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Ensures proper computer policy and procedures are followed
- Meets with employees regularly to discuss knowledge, skills, proficiency and compliance with
standards - Completes employee evaluations in accordance with NVHC policy and procedure
- Creates a positive work environment and handles grievances
- Interviews and hires ‘A’ talent employees in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Administers employee performance improvement counseling in collaboration with Human
Resources - Schedules personnel and coordinates earned time off (ETO) and coverage for clinic and
program staff - Reviews time sheets for accuracy, approves and submits time sheets
- Monitors worked hours of employees and oversees scheduling to maximize productivity while
managing overtime - Coordinates new employee orientation in order to assure knowledge and skill proficiencies
- Conducts/coordinates employee and volunteer training as needed
- Collaborates with billing and coding leadership to supervise front desk staff
- Assists practice manager and billing and coding leadership in insuring staff follows correct
billing practices - Ensures cleanliness of work environment at all times
- Ensures compliance with HRSA Requirements for Federally Qualified Health Centers,
HIPAA, OSHA & other regulatory agencies; keeping abreast of new developments with
all health care related agencies - Performs other work related duties
