JOB TITLE: Social Work Site Supervisor – Bucks County

DEPARTMENT: Catholic Social Services – Community Based Service Division
REPORTS TO: Administrator, Northeast Family Service Center
DIRECT REPORTS: Office Manager, Case Mangers, Student interns, Lead Volunteers

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises programs, services, staff, interns and volunteers. Assures services and programs are developed and delivered in compliance with all CSS policies, procedures, and/or regulations. Assures program compliance and contracted obligations with funding sources.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages responsibility for compliance and regulatory requirements of governmental and private funding contracts including Human Services Development Fund, and PC-IRU program. Maintains ongoing professional relationships with funder contacts to ensure contract compliance is maintained.
- Prepares and submits external and internal reports in a timely manner. Monitors and maintains regular contact with appropriate community leaders, contract managers and county representatives. Represents Catholic Social Services on the United Way of Bucks County Board at biannual meetings. Participates as a member of the coalition of providers in Bucks County at scheduled quarterly meetings.
- Provides a site-specific orientation and training plan for new and existing staff members and volunteers ensuring that all representatives for the agency are adhering to the Agency’s policies and procedures.
- Conducts regular staff meetings with the purpose of communicating priorities and objectives and keeping staff appropriately informed of site and agency developments.
- Advises the Assistant Director of Community Based Services in the development of budgets for operation of Bucks County services offered by CSS.
- Participates in regularly scheduled management team meetings, semi-annual CSS management meetings and specialized committees as appropriate.
- Maintains facility and assists in developing plans for maintenance and capital improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the philosophy of the Agency’s policies as presented in the Mission Statement.
- Knowledge of and commitment to Catholic values and teachings.
- Knowledge of community resources in Bucks County.
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, clients, visitors, agency partners, key stakeholders and donors.
- Ability to relate effectively in a diverse workplace which serves a culturally diverse client population.
- Ability to organize, efficiently document, and routinely update program and agency information and orient staff to same.
Education
- Masters Degree in Social Work preferred
- Minimum of one -three years supervisory experience of social service programs.
