Skilled Maintenance Technician (Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available)

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a rewarding job with great benefits? Johnson & Hellekson Real Estate is seeking motivated and reliable Maintenance Technicians to join our team. We have both full-time and part-time positions available, offering a flexible work schedule and competitive compensation.

As part of our maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our properties remain in excellent condition and provide the best possible living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform unit turnovers by preparing apartments for new tenants
•    Conduct general building and property maintenance including minor repairs. 
•    Handle a variety of construction and handyman tasks, such as drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and light fixture installations, Toilet replacements etc.
•    Address maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner
•    Always ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
•    Work independently and efficiently, managing your time to complete assigned tasks
•    Provide excellent customer service by responding to tenant inquiries and resolving maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications:
•    Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or handyman services is required
•    Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, toilets, garbage disposals, weather stripping, window screens, dryer vent cleaning etc.
•    Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and find effective solutions
•    Excellent communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
•    A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Company vehicle provided)
•    Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed
•    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required
