- High-End Custom Work: Expertly lay bricks, blocks, and stone to create custom patterns and designs, ensuring high-quality finishes on every project.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Follow blueprints, plans, and specifications to execute precise masonry work.
- Mortar Mixing: Mix mortar or grout and apply evenly to surfaces, ensuring strong and durable bonds.
- Material Placement: Align and position materials accurately to meet design specifications, including building corners and curved walls.
- Safety Practices: Work safely at heights using lifts, scaffolding, and proper fall protection. Build and dismantle scaffolding as needed.
- Tool Management: Use and maintain personal mason hand tools for project efficiency.
- Site Professionalism: Represent Potts Masonry with professionalism on job sites, particularly in client-facing residential environments.
- Repair Work: Repair or replace damaged bricks, blocks, or stones as necessary, ensuring seamless integration with existing work.
- Maintain productivity and set a positive example on-site.
- Ensure precision in layout, height, and design to uphold structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
- Remain engaged and proactive in all tasks, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience: Proficient in custom stonework and brickwork, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions, year-round. Must be able to lift up to 94 lbs.
- Tool Proficiency: Must have personal mason hand tools and experience using them effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
- Safety-Conscious: Adhere to safety regulations and practices, especially when working at heights.
- Blueprint Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cutting, sawing, aligning, and applying mortar or grout for a flawless finish.
- Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to job sites.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, professional, and capable of representing the company positively at residential job sites.
