Pay Rate: 20/hr.
Shift: 1st shift - 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday (Flexible)
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Production Technician I is responsible for manufacturing a variety of different GC columns; will require excellent organization, good time management, and attention to detail.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follow written instructions (SOP) for all critical processes.
· Processing GC capillary columns.
· Follow all Safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment.
· Prepare GC capillary columns for processing using tools according to written instructions.
· Material verification and inspection
· Schedule time efficiently to complete work orders in order of priority.
· Data entry in AX/Access computer system
· Keep all work areas, equipment, and tools neat, clean, and organized.
· Maintain and repair the equipment as needed.
· Transfer completed GC capillary columns, with documentation, to QA department for inspection
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· 1 – 2 Years Manufacturing experience preferred
· High School Diploma
· Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects
· Requires analytical thinking and problem solving
· Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks
· Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion
