About the Job
This position is designed to support an A-step or EEG student currently enrolled in a program and seeking on-the-job training to complete their certification.
Candidates must complete an Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program (A-Step) OR Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program within 1 year of hire and maintain BLS Certification to remain employed.
A sleep trainee develops competency in and performs basic sleep testing procedures and associated interventions. The sleep trainee works under direct supervision of a sleep technician or a sleep technologist. Successfully complete training in international 10 to 20 system electrode placement, learn knowledge in brain functions, EEG software competency and complete total of 50 routine PSG, able to perform ROUTINE EEG, AMBU & LTM hook up and unhooks. At the end of the training, the trainee will successfully pass the measurement assessment test & associated EEG/SLEEP competencies and complete 10 SLEEP and/or EEG related CEU's.

- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
