Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Slitter Machine Operator. Based out of Nashua, New Hampshire. Training on 1st shift is required.

This position’s primary function is to operate the slitter machine and support all processes to result in a product which meets or exceeds customer requirements while yielding maximum productivity.

• Safely operate Slitting Machine, includes monitor &control of equipment, maintaining conformance to customer specs and quality standards.
• Understand components of the equipment, set up orders and troubleshoot problems when necessary.
• Utilize test equipment and procedures ensuring conformance to customer requirements.
• Follow SOPs, including guidelines for troubleshooting, security, and accurate record keeping.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: 

Required:  

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing machine experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude & dexterity to perform basic repairs to the machinery.
• Industrial Math skills.
• Ability to learn the computer skills required to control the monitoring functions.
• Ability to read, write, keep neat, accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25-lbs.
• Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust

Preferred:  

• Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred.

We offer generous shift differentials including 20% for 3^rd shift. This position is also eligible for a $3,000 bonus.
