POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to Mohegan Casino Las Vegas (or "MGNV") and is responsible for performing the day-to-day operations and activities in the Slot department or within a section or area of the Slot Department for MCLV's casino operations located inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. When assigned, from time to time, to Slot Supervisor duties, the Slot Operations Supervisor's:

are incorporated herein by reference. Team Members performing as a Dual Rate Slot Attendant/Supervisor (also known as Dual Rate Slot Floorperson/Supervisor) are accountable for the performance attributes of both job descriptions: Slot Attendant and Slot Operations Supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to:
* Assist in hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and supervising Slot Operations staff, including slot and casino beverage teammates, in order to ensure that teammates receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives
* Ensure that assigned area(s) are neat, clean and accommodating for casino patrons
* Safeguard against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all casino funds and property assets within the Slot Department
* Perform Slot Department regulation compliance procedures within the department based on departmental and State of Nevada gaming policies and internal control standards
* Be aware of and communicate with patrons and coworkers matters including all special events functions, entertainment, restaurant schedules, etc.
* Perform inter-department projects, as directed
* Maintain clear lines of communication with all support and related departments including but not limited to Cage, Security, Surveillance, EVS, Engineering and other Casino Departments
* Maintain control and accountability for assigned keys
* Execute all departmental, State and IRS gaming related policies, procedures and Currency Transaction Reporting requirements
* Communicate to supervisory personnel daily activities performed on an assigned shift
* Reviews new slot gaming devices with vendors and coworkers; maintains awareness of state-of-the-art technology as it relates to the games installed and operating in the casino
* Follow standard procedures and training to be alert for patrons who may experience excessive alcohol consumption and/or who must demonstrate age-appropriateness to be present in the casino
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Keep abreast of new technology pertaining to the Slot Department
* Maintain awareness of accurate hand pays as designated by company policy pertaining to Slot patrons
* Assist in developing and maintaining optimal floor layout in regards to machine placement
* Maintain seating available in a neat and orderly fashion for slot patrons
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* One year of experience in a retail or other patron contact position; Slot Attendant experience preferred
* Must possess keyboard/keypad data entry skills, basic mathematical skills and a functional ability to read, write and understand English
* Demonstrate capacity to learn multiple facets of slot operations.
* Understanding of gaming regulations related to slot operations
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Excellent multitasking skills
* Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
* Ability to identify areas on the gaming floor by slot zone
* Ability to operate a two-way radio and other electronic equipment
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* Comprehensive understanding of gaming regulations related to slot operations
* Knowledge in the operation of all slot machines and support technology currently in use
* Familiar with property amenities and marketing promotions and ability to communicate those offerings to patrons
Training Requirements
* Attend required training sessions offered by the Slot Department and the resort
* Company sponsored training (i.e., CTR/CARC training/certification)
* Alcohol awareness and age-appropriate (identification) awareness
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
* Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting
* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
* Must be physically able to access, service and operate all required equipment on the casino floor
* Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
* Must be able to use an "in ear" communication device
* Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
