Job Description:
- Speech Therapy Services: Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs and develop customized treatment plans.
- Individualized Treatment: Design and implement individualized therapy interventions tailored to address students' speech and language challenges.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic progress and social development.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress, track therapy outcomes, and adjust intervention strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification.
- Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Updated resume highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Contract length: 36 weeks
- Competitive weekly compensation up to $2400 based on experience.
