Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston, TX

Position Details:

• Location: Houston, TX
• Contract Length: 30 weeks
• Weekly Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss goals and progress
• Educate staff and parents on techniques to support student communication skills
• Stay current with best practices and evidence-based strategies in speech therapy

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working in educational settings is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
