Title: SMB Channel Business Development Representative
Location: MARYLAND, VIRTUAL
As a Business Development Representative at NCR VOYIX, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new retail and restaurant channel partners opportunities. You will leverage your relationship-building skills and industry knowledge to develop successful strategies that expand our partner & customer base and contribute to our organizational goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
+ Identify and Develop Partnerships: Identify, engage, and develop relationships within the VAR POS ecosystem to resell NCR restaurant and retail products and services.
+ Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets through partnerships.
+ Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities within the payments industry.
+ New Partner Onboarding Management: Lead project management on all new partner onboarding. Collaborate with team on administrative needs, commercial pricing, and training certifications.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful integration and promotion of software solutions.
+ Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with hospitality/retail platform partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
+ Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, including sales metrics, revenue growth, and market penetration.
+ Training and Support: Provide training and support to new platform partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote and integrate our payment solutions.
+ Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential partners and stay updated on industry trends and developments.
+ Tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and optimize future efforts.
+ Producing regular reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of partnership strategies, financial performance, and areas for improvement.
+ Proven track record of driving revenue growth and consistently exceeding partner revenue targets and engagement goals
+ Adept at thinking strategically and developing actionable, long-term plans to achieve business objectives through partnerships, while also executing tactically to deliver immediate results
+ Expertise in negotiating complex agreements and contracts that drive mutual value
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead through influence; building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
+ Strong presentation skills with the ability to command an audience
+ Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by effectively managing multiple priorities and coordinating across teams
+ Skilled in working cross-functionally with multiple business units to develop and implement solutions that meet partner and customer needs, enhancing selling opportunities in complex engagements.
+ Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the payments industry or a related technology sector.
+ 4 year college degree required
Skills:
+ Strong understanding of the payments industry and restaurant/retail POS ecosystem.
+ Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range:
$78,500.00 - $121,500.00
Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
