About the Job
We are looking for an EXPERIENCE SMT OPERATOR. MUST HAVE OPERATION EXPERIENCE WORKING ON SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGY (SMT)
Operator monitors and maintains equipment used to create electronic circuits with surface mount technology (SMT).
Your primary job duties involve operating an SMT machine to mount electronic components directly onto circuit boards.

Responsibilities:
- Read and understand engineering documentation.
- Set up machines DEK screen printer, Pick N Place, loading programs (Universal) and operation of Heller reflow oven
- Perform loading and unloading to and from machine independently
- Set up feeder to machine per set up
- Ensure all process tools, stencils or fixtures are in house prior to starting set up process
- Perform simple machine change over
- Touch up soldering and repair work of defects generated by the machine
- Run usage failure reports on each work order
- Maintain troubleshooting log
- Ensure assembled product meets compliance standards
- Work closely with SMT Process Engineer
- Check machinery to ensure they are operated in a safe manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:
- Ability to read, understand and follow engineering documentation related to PCB Assembly
- Ability to utilize all tools required.
- Ability to identify the basic SMT components and component polarity
- Use magnification aids and stereo-microscope to solder components to IPC-A-610 standards, as applicable.
- Understand IPC specifications as related to PCB and Assembly manufacturing
- Basic computer application knowledge
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to Stand for most of the shift.
- Must be able to develop a good rapport with other departmental members.
- Skillful presentation of work issues to prevent negative reactions.
Education:
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent or minimum 6 months of job related experience.
