Job Description
The Data+A30:A42 Lead / Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data architectures in Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with high-volume data aggregation, data warehousing, and performance optimization. This role will involve working closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures in Snowflake.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain robust data models to support high-volume data aggregation and complex analytical queries.
• ETL Processes: Design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Performance Tuning: Implement performance tuning techniques to optimize query performance and resource utilization in Snowflake.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and data integrity.
• Security: Implement data security best practices, including data masking, encryption, and access controls.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, models, and processes.
• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture, data warehousing, and Snowflake capabilities.
