Social Media Analyst
Location: Work from Home (Must be based in New York, NY or Bay Area, CA for onsite meetings)
Schedule: ~ 6 Months
Pay: Up to $70/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Social Media Analyst to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 6 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and the Social Media Analyst must be located in either New York, NY or Bay Area, CA for onsite meetings.
Social Media Analyst Responsibilities:
- Publish day-to-day content across the social platforms.
- Work alongside the strategy and creative teams to publish content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Gather and analyze performance of the content.
- Compile data in Excel and Google Sheets and deliver appealing data visualization designs for reports.
- Analyze content at the post level and campaign level for weekly, monthly, and quarterly needs.
- Create and present data-driven insights and recommendations to the teams.
- Analyze audience growth, trends, and insights to inform the organic content growth strategy.
- Work cross-functionally and plug into existing reporting efforts.
- Ensure project deadlines and timelines set by the manager are being met.
- 3+ years' experience as a social media analyst or data analyst.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Experience managing or supporting social accounts for national or global brands from an agency of within a client.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite (Sheets), social media publishing tools, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Asana or other similar content management systems.
