Volt is immediately hiring for a Social Media Coordinator.
As an Social Media Coordinator you will:
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification with the goal of increasing audience and driving brand awareness and sales.
- Define the most important social media KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Create and implement social media marketing plan and calendar to include weekly e-blasts, giveaways, promotions, contests to keep social media growing and followers engaged.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action. Monitor fan/follower feedback and draft replies to messages and comments.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
- Use creative means to plan, organize and implement a range of social media routines and rapid response campaigns that drive traffic, engagement and brand recognition.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media key trends, best practices and technologies.
- Measure and report on the success of every social media campaign; analyze and optimize all content platform, including blogs, newsletters, social media, to acquire a qualified, engaged database of customers.
- Manage Springbot insights, triggered ad content and development, ad roll content development and ROI analysis.
- Assist with crisis management, bad reviews and negative news communications.
- Communicate with industry professional and influencers via social media to create a strong network and make valuable connections.
- Work with copywriters and designers when necessary to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and General Management to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
- Manage the company web-site and analytics tools with an eye to driving conversion, monitoring and continually improving our SEO strategy on all pages.
- Compose and post on-line content on the company’s website, including product pages, blog, press and other traffic drives.
- Assist with writing marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market.
- Coordinate with leadership on the content launch strategy for products, integrations, promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Assist with research and development of new products and concepts.
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
- Be fully trained and knowledgeable on all Original Sprout Product information.
- Keep up to date on trends in the industry to include but not limited to product ingredients, tools, influencers and trends. Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ year of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and other social media best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuickBooks preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text) presentation and communication skills.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with doing audience and buyer person research.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Familiarity with web design/Shopify and publishing.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
- Team player.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Able to learn new programs as needed.
