About the Job
The Social Media Manager develops and executes social media strategies to attract and engage guests, increase sales, raise brand awareness, and grow community engagement in a measurable way. This position is the administrator of the brand's domestic social media communities and consumer facing social channels, as well as the brand LinkedIn channel. This position interprets integrated marketing communications, brand-building messages, corporate communications, and issues management in the brand's voice across social media networks, while providing expert guidance and support to the international team and the international social media channels.

Skills and Abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of content marketing theory and application In-depth knowledge of the key social media channels, social media platforms, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios Knowledge of the ins and outs of all social media channels, uses them effectively for work and personal Working knowledge of current digital advertising trends, best practices, and emerging social media tools Working knowledge of how data and analytics shape content strategy Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side Ability to demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in social media Ability to write and edit communications and articulate the brand ‘voice’ in a creative, compelling, and witty manner Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear concise language; to demonstrate active listening while engaging others; and to establish, implement, and clearly communicate strategies that align with business needs and objectives to gain buy-in from stakeholder Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., senior management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g., internal and external customers, etc.) in a timely manner Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies Ability to travel overnight approximately 10-15% annually Experience with paid media Experience with influencer marketing
