As the Social Media Manager for RockLove, you’ll play a key role in managing and executing our online presence, creating impactful content and coordinating collaborations. Your goal will be to grow a loyal online community, increasing followers and interactions across our platforms.

- Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 a year
- Benefits: Paid time off, wellness benefits, 401K opportunity, 10 paid holidays
- Work from Home: Fully remote, though you must reside in NY, CA, OR, or WA
- Social Media Strategy & Community Engagement
- Manage the day-to-day posting and engagement across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Pinterest).
- Monitor and engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and tags, nurturing a positive brand experience.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to monitor & maintain brand reputation across social by addressing negative reviews or comments and identify any trends in product issues.
- Collaborate with the licensing & marketing teams to develop and implement a social media strategy across key platforms that aligns with our brand’s goals.
- Content Creation
- Create, edit, and publish original content (copywriting, images, and videos) to support brand awareness, product launches, and community engagement.
- Track and analyze content performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize reach and engagement.
- Identify and leverage user-generated content in line with brand guidelines, amplifying our community’s connection with the brand.
- Brand Compliance and Licensing Approvals
- Collaborate with the licensing and marketing teams to ensure all social media assets meet licensing standards and guidelines prior to publication.
- Submit all assets for pre-publication approval and track each project to guarantee deadlines are met without compromising quality or brand consistency.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each brand partner’s requirements, adapting content to meet compliance regulations.
- Collaborations & Outreach
- Support the Marketing Manager in identifying and collaborating with influencers, content creators, and industry partners.
- Support the Marketing Manager to communicate with collaborators, ensuring they have the assets, guidelines, and support needed to promote our products authentically.
- Track campaign performance and provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and conversions from influencer initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring & Competitive Analysis
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, algorithm changes, and new platform features.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to help inform our content strategy and ensure we maintain a competitive edge.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the licensing, entertainment, or consumer products industries.
- Strong understanding of content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design basics.
- Experience with asset submission processes and knowledge of licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling and building community.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with workflow management, file share, and communications tools.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in influencer management and campaign execution is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally for live events/trade shows
