Social Media & Marketing Administrative Assistant (Part-time or Full-time)
Office Location – Duncansville, PA
Our Client, a local supply, service, and distribution company, is seeking a personable, dependable, and creative Social Media & Marketing Administrative Assistant with strong digital marketing knowledge and company website maintenance experience. This Administrative Assistant role will also responsible to be cross-trained in all general office and customer service duties
Qualifications:
·Two+ years of administrative experience is required; previous marketing / social media responsibilities is preferred
·Strong computer skills with daily use of MS outlook, excel & word, and proficient at researching and gathering information from the internet / skillful navigational abilities
·Experience creating, updating, and coordinating a business social media site is required Company’s Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
·Experience creating and distributing company electronic newsletter to customers and vendors is a plus but not required
·Ability to create professional and attention-grabbing marketing materials to be viewed on company's website and social media.
·Customer service, vendor/ customer data entry and spreadsheet experience
·Ability to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company’s products
·Team player - willing and able to be cross trained in all administrative functions
Responsibilities:
·Creating and updating marketing ads daily for company’s social media sites and website
·Gather details and creating digital newsletter for customers, vendors, and employees (ex. Introducing new products and service, sales or promotions, company news etc.)
·Promote company community events and associations
·Manage emails, answer phones, place orders, and follow up with customers and vendors
·Data entry of customer, vendor, and sales information into company’s software system
- Place orders as requested by customers and the company’s outside sales representatives
·Create and prepare specific reports for management, service, and sales team members
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits Overview:
·The company hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm
·This position will work an average of 18-24 hours during these office hours
·Hourly rate will be based on experience
