Job Description:
SUU Dining Services is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media and Marketing Intern to assist in shaping our brand presence on campus and beyond. This position provides hands-on experience in marketing, event coordination, and social media management, offering exposure to both local and national branding strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Assistant Dining Director to create engaging marketing content for SUU Dining.
- Manage and create content for SUU Dining's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), including posts, stories, and interactive campaigns.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing student engagement events, promoting these events through social channels.
- Gain insight into national corporate marketing initiatives and high-level branding strategies.
- Analyze social media trends and performance to optimize content strategies.
- Work within flexible hours to accommodate student class schedules.
Qualifications:
- Interest in social media, marketing, and event planning.
- Proficiency in social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Strong communication skills and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Outlook, Google Drive, etc.
