Primary Objective/Responsibilities:
As a Sales Events Planner ("SEP") at Puff 'n Stuff Catering, your guiding light is exceeding client expectations through meticulously planned and executed events. Using your passion for hospitality, sales acumen, and event planning expertise, you actively participate in business relationship development, attending individual client events, conducting site visits, and ensuring flawless event execution. Your dedication and commitment help us maintain our status as one of Florida's premier off-site caterer.
In your role as SEP, your primary responsibility is to consistently achieve individual monthly sales revenue objectives. You will take the lead in systematically developing new business, establishing valuable business relationships with venue operators, and actively following up on all leads. You'll be responsible for preparing creative and tailored proposals, tracking sales opportunities, and ensuring clear communication both internally and externally for an outstanding event experience.

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or Hospitality.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in a hospitality field, preferably in the Central Florida area.
• Proven ability to develop and manage $1,000,000 in annual sales.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the region and work nights and weekends.
Preferred qualifications:
• Proficiency with Caterease software program or similar event planning tools.
• Excellent networking and follow-up skills.
• Ability to finalize event contracts and liaise with management on contractual change requests.
• Experience identifying efficiency and effectiveness improvements in sales and operations that result in improved financial results.
