Position: School Social WorkerCompensation:$42-$50 per hour, DOEBenefits: Health insurance available from day-1, PTO, and 401k after 1 yearHours: 37.25 hours per weekSchedule: Monday - FridayCaseload: HighschoolLocation: Lake In The Hills, ILSchool Social WorkerAs a School Social Worker, you will support the academic, social, and emotional development of students by addressing individual needs and fostering a positive school environment. This role includes providing direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources to promote student success and well-being. You will collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to identify and address challenges, creating tailored strategies to help students achieve their educational and personal goals.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and academic needs, developing individualized support plans.Deliver one-on-one and group counseling sessions, offering crisis intervention when necessary.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive school environment.Provide resources and referrals to community-based services for students and families.Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to school policies and privacy laws.Facilitate workshops for students, parents, and staff on mental health, social skills, and family dynamics.Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related fieldLicensed or certified according to state regulationsExperience in a school or child-centered environment preferredWe invite qualified candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
