About the Job
L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Software Architect. This position will provide the following PeopleSoft Application and Architect support:
- Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
- Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (weblogic, Tuxedo, ElasticSearch, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack.
- Provide technical direction to meet business needs.
- Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions.
- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction.
- Research, resolve, and test configurations.
- Provide Research, Analysis and PeopleSoft Application support for the current Legacy PeopleSoft Applications.
- Support the proposed Peoplesoft upgrade project as required.
- 7 years of system administration experience in Oracle's PeopleSoft HR & HCM 9 or higher release. Where duties included installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and perform code migrations in a Unix/Solaris/Linux environment.
- 7 years of system administration experience utilizing PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.49 or higher, including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
- 7 years of experience in performing PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
- 5 years of experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high availability (HA).
- 5 years of experience with Oracle 10g or higher database releases in creating and maintaining Peoplesoft databases.
