The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for working with a team to analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools.
• Contributes to developing testing methodologies, formulates testing scores and creates test cases that support SwA tool analysis.
• Supports testing of client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation.
• Creates reports and documentation.
• Using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses and determining the suitability for a given software/customer environment.
• Designing and testing source code SwA analysis processes.
• Interpreting, prioritizing and using source code SwA tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
• Experience in programming in Python or other scripting language
• Performing statistical analysis and reporting on multiple variables in a SwA environment.
• Written communication skills in writing technical reports.
• Surveying industry to identify new source code SwA tools and methodologies.
• Professional teaching and demonstrated experience creating or presenting technical briefingsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering and 12 years' experience in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment. Or (8 with a Master's Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering) - -
  • Five (5) years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths their strengths on weaknesses.
  • Three (3) years of experience designing and testing SwA Analysis Processes.
  • Three (3) years of experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Python programming (or some other scripting language)
  • Five (5) years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues.
  • Two (2) years of experience performing statistical analysis. -
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Preferred Qualifications:Experience with some or all the below technologies:
